The mission of SDFC is to prevent lower limb (leg, foot and toe) amputation. Diabetic patients often develop diabetic complications that lead to multiple amputations in the leg or foot.
A few of these complications may be numbness and tingling in the feet, altered sensations in the feet, lack of adequate blood flow to the feet and wounds that fester into chronic or non-healing ulcers.
Our specialist clinic is dedicated to early detection, diagnosis, management and treatment of diabetic foot complications. With extensive local & overseas training as well as experience in lower extremity pathology, our Acute Care Team of Podiatrists are well equipped to assess and treat problems involving diabetic lower limbs.
